Would you mind giving us an insight into what your show/event/performance is?
It’s a comedy-horror about a TV celebrity vicar who finds himself battling demonic forces and an addiction to vaping. Expected jump-scares, musical interludes and electronic props that may/may not work.
How does it feel coming to (back to) the Fringe?
Like a 2nd tour of Nam but all my friends are there!!
With shows from all over the world at the Fringe, what sets yours apart?
No one else has a Wi-Fi-enabled coffin.
On that, is there anything in the production or production team’s backgrounds which influences the way the show is performed or told?
I have a degree in electromechanical engineering which obviously has had an impact on the props in the show. I have worked closely with composer Robbie George on several shows and films, and he’s scored the entire show.
Is there anything specific you’re hoping the audience will take away?
I don’t want them taking anything away. If this show ‘resonates’ with a single person, I’ll burn Underbelly to the ground.
Your Ideal audience is in attendance, who’s watching? Or more importantly – who isn’t…?
The cast and crew of Cheers.
It’s an intense month, so where you’re able, how do you plan to relax, and are there any other shows you intend to see or want to recommend?
I’ll probably go to the spa on my day off and watch Lady Bolognese.

Hudson Hughes: At Your Service will run at Venue 61, Iron Belly at Underbelly, Cowgate
Runs: August 5th – August 30th at 23:10pm
