SceneToSeen – Interabang!? First Anniversary

Congratulations are in order for emerging Scottish theatre & film production company Interabang Productions, who will soon be celebrating their 1st anniversary. Marking the occasion in the best possible way, the team will be launching SceneToSeen – a digital series of new writing monologues and duologues created in isolation, all finished and edited to the highest quality.

Premiering on July 2nd at 7 pm, ‘Permanent Scar’ will launch the series of six weekly videos, all streamed live from Facebook. Written by Rachel Flynn, who also produces for Interabang Productions, Permanent Scar stars River City’s Cameron Fulton delivering a monologue, directed & edited by Ryan Dewar. The following videos, roughly eight-ten minutes each, will premiere the following weeks on Interabang’s Facebook.

Other notable creatives confirmed to produce content for the series include Karen Bartke, James Rottger, Helen Mackay, Jordan Crammond, Kirsty May Hamilton, Benjamin Storey and Isla Robertson.

With what is already shaping up to be a comprehensive, dynamic event filled with imagination, ingenuity and heart, it’s a promising anniversary to set up Interabang for another spectacular year following previous successes Being LizaToast, and the recent online piece for Durham Gala Onstage – The Boy & The Seahorse (if you want to gain an idea of how brilliant these people are, check out our reviews for them).

Each video will also come with captions for accessibility, including one piece which is performed using British Sign Language (BSL). Recognising the difficulties countless numbers across our industry face, with little (or no) hopes of funding or support, any donations to aid in continuing the skill and merit of these creatives can be sent via Paypal – www.paypal.me/weareinterabang
